Hey there, Maloo tribe!

It all started with a yoga mat and a move to a new apartment.

When my partner and I settled into our new home, I quickly realized there was nowhere for my yoga mat to belong. It ended up dusty and stuffed into a corner — which, if you know anything about a home yoga practice, feels like the opposite of what it's supposed to be. I wanted something beautiful, something that would hold my mat like it mattered. When I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, I made it myself. That was the beginning of Maloo.

The second turning point was more personal.

I'd been dealing with painful periods for years and reached a point where I no longer wanted to manage them with pills. I believed — and still believe — that our wellbeing is deeply connected: body, mind, and the way we care for ourselves in daily life. I started exploring alternatives, and yoni steaming kept coming up as an ancient, gentle practice worth trying. But when I went looking for a steam stool that felt right — something discreet, something I'd actually want in my home, something that could double as a side table or a plant stand and not announce itself as a wellness device — I found nothing. So again, I made it myself.

That's the Maloo way.

Every product starts from a real need, a real moment, a real woman thinking: this should exist, and it should be beautiful.The swing came next, after a friend was looking for something special for her child. Then came bath trays, hooks for yoga studios, and more. Each one designed with the same thread running through: minimalist, intentional, at home in your space — and quietly reminding you to take time for yourself.

I work with a small team of skilled local craftspeople here in Slovenia who share my values. Every piece is handmade from natural, sustainable materials. We take our time, because we believe the things you surround yourself with should be made thoughtfully — just like the life you're building around them.

More than furniture

I'm also a Feldenkrais Method practitioner, which means I've spent a lot of time thinking about how we move, how we rest, and how the spaces around us support (or undermine) our sense of ease. This shapes everything I make. Maloo products aren't just decor. They're gentle invitations — to roll out your mat, to slow down, to draw a bath, to treat your body with the same care you'd give anyone you love.
